1 Day Workshop

Tuesday, April 22 | 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Make a dark cottagecore-inspired botanical watercolor set of cards- perfect for getting into the Spring season! We’ll be trying out the use of metallic watercolor paints on dark backgrounds to make your designs pop! Students will make a set of 3 cards by the end of the workshop, inspiration/design sources will be provided. A basic understanding of painting/drawing is helpful but not required. Students will receive a voucher for a glass of house wine or beer, redeemable at the Palette and Pour Bar, to enjoy during class.

Nicole Gencarelli is an arts administrator and artist based in the Lehigh Valley. Her artistic background is in painting, fiber arts, printmaking, mixed media, and art history. She has an ongoing fiber series of animal skeleton embroideries, which are inspired by her childhood fondness for natural history and natural curiosities. Her work has been exhibited locally and regionally since 2010.

Location Information:
The Fowler Blast Furnace Room is located on the mezzanine level of the ArtsQuest Center. Parking can be found at the Founders Way lot as well as the PNC lot and RE and RW.
