Elise Kney: Summer 2024 Community Engagement Intern!

This summer Elise is our Community Engagement Intern for the Volunteer Department! She is a rising junior at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts where she is majoring in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Business. On campus she is involved in the volunteer organization, Waltham Group, where she is part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Club. She is also in Delta Phi Epsilon where she oversees the coordination of all philanthropy and community service events for the organization as Vice President of Programming. Off campus she works part time at a local YMCA.  

Elise grew up in the Lehigh Valley and loved attending Musikfest along with other ArtsQuest events throughout her childhood. She is passionate about community engagement and believes communities should strive to ensure equal access to all venues of the arts for everyone. She also believes volunteers are the unsung heroes who provide resources and transform communities. Elise is so excited to be working at ArtsQuest this summer and hopes this internship will lead to future opportunities in Philanthropy and community engagement.
