ArtsQuest Visual Arts Programming Continues in Your Community

New classes announced at Spring Garden Elementary School, the Artist Garages, the Bethlehem Area Public Library and throughout the ArtsQuest campus.

Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA., February 10, 2025 – ArtsQuest in Your Community is in full swing and the next round of visual arts programming is now available at artsquest.org/visual-arts. Thanks to the help from our community partners, we are able to bring ArtsQuest visual arts programming to your community during the construction of the new ArtsQuest Creative Factory powered by PPL.

Here is a list of classes that are now registration ready:  

February 13: Radiant HeART Water Doodling with Michelle Lee – Bethlehem Area School District Spring Garden Elementary School

February 15: Winter Weaving Workshop with Sara Cunard – Bethlehem Visitor Center presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network

February 16 – March 9: Cartooning and Anime for All Ages with Cotty Kilbanks – Bethlehem Visitor Center at SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network Exhibit Space

March 5 – March 12: Creating Jewelry w/ Polmer Clay with Alexandra Schnabel – 520 Hamilton St. Allentown, PA 18101

March 7: Paint Like Bob Ross: Silent Forest (Wine’d Down Workshop) with Chris Severn – Fowler Blast Furnace Room inside the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks  

March 8: Spring Weaving Workshop (Session A) with Sara Cunard – Bethlehem Visitor Center at SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network Exhibit Space

March 29: Sacred Symbol Paint & Breathe Wine’d Down Workshop with Michelle Lee – Fowler Blast Furnace Room Loft inside the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks  

April 26: Spring Weaving Workshop (Session B) with Sara Cunard – Bethlehem Visitor Center at SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network Exhibit Space

April 26: YogART Transformative Chakra Mandala Workshop with Michelle Lee– Bethlehem Area Public Library Laros Room

Location information:

Spring Garden Elementary is located at 901 North Blvd. Bethlehem, PA 18017

The Artist Garages are located at 520 Hamilton St in Allentown, PA. While the address is for Hamilton St., the Artist Garages are accessed via Maple St. near the intersection with Bayard Rustin Way. Nearby parking includes the Community Deck parking garage (located at 13 S 6th St. in Allentown, PA) and metered on-street parking. Classes will occur in Bay 1.

The Bethlehem Area Public Library is located at 11 W. Church St. in Bethlehem. There is free on-street parking around the library, most with 1 or 2-hour time limits. On weekdays after 5 p.m. and all day on Saturdays, parking is available in the garage beneath the library. Th get to the Laros Room, enter the library and go to the second floor.

The Fowler Blast Furnace Room is located on the mezzanine level of the ArtsQuest Center at 101 Founders Way Bethlehem, PA 18015. Parking can be found at the Founders Way lot as well as the PNC lot and RE and RW.

The Bethlehem Visitor Center at SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network Exhibit Space sits next to the SteelStacks with parking available in the PNC lot as well as the two parking lots across the street (RE and RW).
