2024 In Review  

In a year of heavy rain at Musikfest, cold temperatures at Christkindlmarkt, and just about every other challenge in between—there was still plenty to celebrate! Thanks to your efforts, events all across the calendar achieved records. We could not have done it without your dedication and hard work, and we look forward to an even greater year in 2025!

Musikfest 

• 1,044 Volunteers 

• New record for most tickets sold for Steel Stage shows in a single year (54,786 tickets) 

• Best EVER Food & Beverage sale day on Saturday, 8/10 

• 530 musical performances by more than 422 artists on 17 stages 

• Bags of Ice Used: 6,216 

• Kegs of Beer Emptied: 734 

Oktoberfest 

• 153 volunteers 

• Best EVER Food & Beverage sale day on Saturday, 10/12 

• Kegs of beer emptied: 505 

• Yuengling – Total Usage 104 kegs  

• Hofbrau – Total Usage 158 kegs 

• Sam Adams/Dogfish Head – Total Usage 108 kegs 

• Spaten – Total Usage 135 kegs 

Christkindlmarkt 

• 344 Volunteers 

• Best overall attendance record through six weekends: 128,384 visitors 

• Attendees of “Free Friday” Evenings: 17,501 visitors 

• Hot Glass Experiences sold out: 396 tickets sold 

• Breakfast with St. Nick: 445 children and adults enjoying their time with the big guy

I’d personally like to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every volunteer I’ve met and worked with so far on this new journey for me here in the Volunteer Department. Anytime anyone starts a new position, there’s always some form of trepidation no matter how well you can hide it. I cannot thank you all enough for being so welcoming and making this transition literally seamless. I couldn’t ask for a better group, and I look forward to working alongside all of you in 2025 and beyond! Musikfest preparations are already underway!
