First Friday Pop Up Art Market

ArtsQuest will host local artists to our First Friday Pop Up Art Markets in connection with Southside Arts District’s First Friday events throughout the year. This is an opportunity for local artists to showcase to new audiences and sell their work during these community events. Different artists will be featured each month the market is hosted, stop by each month to check out something new!

Victoria Siedt
Hi my name is Victoria, I’m a local LGBTQ+ artist. I use art as a way to express my emotions by pouring passion into my works. I draw inspiration from whatever emotion I am filling at the time, be that anxiety, depression, anger and so forth and I try to create something beautiful.

Sharon Moyer
I’m a local fabric & alpaca artist. I make an array of wearable art and also my dream catchers. Portions of my sales go back into donations to the cancer center and neonatal unit. I recently made and donated about 74 beanies to the chemo center and another 50 to the new Norma at the neonatal unit and also bereavement blankets.

She encourages the expansion of ones relationship with the self and source. By working with the environment, Andreas art teaches us the value in knowing we are not outside of nature but rather an extension of it. Her pieces challenge the viewer, other artists, and herself to explore new methods of sustainability and envision a more healing reality for us as a collective.
